This collection was born during the postpartum period of my third child. With him I close a beautiful stage, radiant but also exhausting but always full of challenges and adventures: pregnancy and postpartum. This work evolved from notes, sentences and sketches to the work you have in your hands.
The collection consists of 7 prints of mother-child scenes that I vividly remember and would like to make last forever, and one of the couple with whom I have created and lived the precious experience of motherhood.
All mothers can vividly remember some intimate scenes of the extraordinary experience of discovering and getting to know your child, slowly, during pregnancy and postpartum. The drawings presented here are minimalist precisely to give rise to the connection with each mother's own memories.
The long hours of the nights of the first months, the mornings full of calm while I nursed you. Doubts and fears about whether I will be doing it as it should or not. So many moments to become aware that time is fast and slow at the same time. That what seems cumbersome to us during the experience, quickly remains in the memories.
