Breathing house project

Coproject with Karen Dana Cohen, Shari-Anne Vis, Laura Rosengren and Tara Hugues. This idea came after months of sharing a mensual crit group from ArtistMother podcast. We went through the unkowing of Covid19 first stage together in the distance. Our meetings were like an oasis in the middle of the unknown about our life and careers. After first covid19 wave, we started talking about how can we show again our art. And this idea came up. We printed postcards with our artwork infront and the following text on the back. We called the projecgt Breathing House.

In this time of hiddenness, five artist investigate how their artwork can be known differently: on fences, through windows, on couches, in forests, on streets.

The art is created, photographed somewhere unexpected, printed onto a postcard, and sent to you, crossing borders and contexts.

Becoming a collaboration through conntexts? We aim to create a new dimension and invite you to do the same. Will you photograph this postcard in your space or choice? Continuing the exploration”
