Bye 2023 Welcome 2024 •Adiós 2023 Bienvenido 2024

This post is not about art. But about what nourishes me to do it.

Yesterday morning I went with my family and some friends to have a picnic, and a small mandala and gratitude ritual to say goodbye to the year. It was not cold at all and we enjoyed the warmth of the forest.

The ritual itself was something simple, with children you can't make it too long. But it was a very nice connection experience. We share, tangerines and coffee, board games, Oracle cards, instruments. The children played a lot and the adults laughed and talked. The truth is that it was something very simple but it was very fulfilling for me to do.

I'm not one to celebrate New Year's Eve, I don't like it at all. But mornings are my weakness. Yesterday it was about the Earth, today, January 1st, it was about Water.

We all went together, the five of us. We have prepared hot water bottles inside the towels and we have taken a bath in the sea!! Then some potatoes and playing in the sand. A great start to the year! Full of calm, connection with nature and family.

Este post no es sobre arte. Pero si sobre lo que me nutre para hacerlo.

Ayer por la mañana fui con mi familia y unos amigos a hacer un picnic, y un pequeño mandala y ritual de agradecimiento para despedir el año. No hacía nada de frío y disfrutamos del acogimiento del bosque.

El ritual en si fue algo sencillo, con niños no puedes alargarlo mucho. Pero fue una experiencia de conexión muy bonita. Compartimos, mandarinas y café, juegos de mesa, cartas de Oraculo, instrumentos. Los niños jugaron mucho y los adultos reímos y hablamos. La verdad es que fue algo muy simple pero que me llenó mucho el hacerlo.

No soy de celebrar la noche de fin de año, no me gusta nada. Pero las mañanas son mi debilidad. Ayer se trataba de la Tierra hoy día 1de enero ha sido el Agua. Hemos ido todos juntos, los cinco. Hemos preparado bolsas de agua caliente dentro de las toallas y nos hemos dado un baño en el mar!! Después unas patatas y jugar en la arena. Una entrada de año genial! Llena de calma, conexión con la naturaleza y família.
