AI explorations and exhibition in Viena · Exploraciones con la IA y exposición en Viena.

Since last summer I have been exploring and learning how to work with AI, with midjourney more specifically. And the truth is that I think it is a wonderful tool for an artist. I don't use it as a unique tool, but as one more in my creative process.

After further immersion in this technology, I was invited by my friend Christine Ebner to create work expressly for two exhibitions, one online and one physical in Vienna. In an outdoor space near the city Opera. It has been a fantastic experience and I really want to repeat it, and continue exploring this virtual world, to bring it to the physical world of my workshop.

How I work with AI. Well, my process starts from using my own works as a base, when I arrive at an image created by artificial intelligence that satisfies me, I transfer it back to the physical world to continue working on it. That is, to intervene again with painting, embroidery or collage. These works are still in progress and I do not want to show them until later in the project.

Llevo desde el verano pasado explorando y conociendo como trabajar con la IA, con midjourney más específicamente. Y la verdad es que me parece una herramienta maravillosa para un artista. Yo no la uso cómo herramienta única, pero si cómo una más en mi proceso creativo.

Después de hacer más immersión en esta tecnología fui invitada por mi amiga Christine Ebner a crear obra expresamente para dos exposiciones, una online y una física en Viena. En un espacio al aire libre cerca de la Opera de la ciudad. Ha sido una experiencia fantástica y tengo muchas ganas de repetir, y de seguir explorando este mundo virtual, para llevarlo al mundo físico de mi taller.

Cómo trabajo con la IA. Pues mi proceso parte del uso de mis propias obras cómo base, al llegar a una imagen creada por la inteligencia artificial que me satisface la traspaso de nuevo al mundo físico para seguir trabajando en ella. Es decir, para intervenirla de nuevo con pintura, bordados o collage. Estas obras todavía estan en proceso y no las quiero mostrar hasta más avanzado el proyecto.
