Feeling at home • Sentirse en casa

These recent work makes me travel home. Through their color, their textures, their transparent details of thin layers of natural inks... I feel safe. As if I was on Earth lap’s, the mother who nourishes and welcomes us with generosity.

I use pigments that my mother already had, she used them for her paintings and ceramics. The use of natural pigment without additives is always surprising and unexpected. I really trust the process, and it comforts me.

The fabrics and their wrinkles, their hills and valleys, their protruding threads… it is a constant game that fascinates me, and I would like to be able to capture each fold individually, and to be able to explain better with words how it makes me feel.

Con estas obras, con su color, sus texturas, sus detalles transparentes de finas capas de tintas naturales..me siento en casa. En el regazo de la Tierra, la madre que nos nutre y acoge con generosidad.

Utilizo pigmentos que ya tenía mi madre, ella los usaba para sus pinturas y cerámicas. El uso de pigmento natural sin aditivos, es siempre sorprendente e inesperado. Es realmente confiar.

Las telas y sus arrugas, sus montes y valles, sus hilos que sobresalen… es un juego constante que me fascina, y me gustaría poder captar cada pliegue de forma individual, y poder explicar mejor con palabras lo que me hacen sentir.
